I'm not sure yet, honestly. Maybe I will, depends on how likely I am to get stabbed by the one the other told me was dangerous... Though so far, it doesn't seem like he's as willin' as the other made me think.

So it's a specific pair you're working on, not just quashing any potential fights that break out among us? You can let me know if you ever need backup, though I don't have any particular defense against being stabbed either.

Just leave the bein' stabbed to me. I'm pretty used to it by now. Honestly ain't the worst thing that's happened.

Just because it's not the worst thing that's happened doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. [He says it fairly lightly, more matter-of-fact than as a reprimand.] But how about this: if it looks like something supernatural is coming into play, give me a call and I'll see if I can stop it from getting worse. I do have some defenses in the right circumstances.

Understandable, ain't no one likes being woken up in the dead of the night by spam calls. [And alarms... aren't ever pleasant to wake up to, honestly.]

I'll keep that in mind, but you're gonna have to show me how to use it. I assume there's a trick or somethin'?

Haha, that's right! That and curses. It's an old habit. [And one that he really doesn't need to keep up here, but whatever, he hasn't seen any ill effects from it yet.

He briefly considers summoning a doll over again before he decides not to chance it; instead he blows on the tea in his mug as he shakes his head.] Not much of one. These ones aren't capable of doing much more than flying back to me, but because of that they're easy for other people to activate. Since you can see-- [and he taps his cheek; the lizard isn't currently visible, but he figures she'll follow what he's getting at] it shouldn't be a problem for you. All you have to do is hold it when you want to send it back to me, and it will pick up on that intention. You can write messages on it if you want, but it's not necessary; if I get a blank one, I'll follow it back to where it came from.

Haha, my sleep schedule is still messed up from work back home! There's a good chance I'd be up anyway.

It's still paper, so don't let it get too wet, but you don't have to worry about it getting too old or anything like that.
