i didn't technically lie, so i think i'm only going down to a 3.5~
there are a few other sorce uh exorcists, around here. including me. we're not from the same place, 'cause i would have heard of your clan. you don't recognize the gojou name, either, so i guess it's just a happy coincidence.
Is the Gojou clan powerful enough that you can get away with not playing along? Or are you just doing it now while you have the chance? Genuine question, not rhetorical.
Sheer strength isn't the only thing that can take a clan down. You need allies, or at least other clans that would rather have you at the top than the alternative.
what is your point, or what is it that you really want to say?
i don't think i'm allowed to explain the politics of our sorcerer society to you, even if we're technically on the same team. we're not supposed to talk about sorcery, period, but i've already messed that one up.
We could go back to talking about my movies, if you'd prefer my normal sunshiny attitude.
But since you shared a bit of context with me, it's only fair that I do the same: the Natori clan is a clan of one right now. We were an older house, but the ability to see died out generations ago, and my ancestors chose to quit the business entirely rather than get absorbed into another clan. Feel free to blame that for my interest in the politics of major families from other worlds.
i'm not really fond of my clan, or any of the higher ups, either, but i'm the heir whether i want to be or not.
more and more, i just keep thinking that i want to make things better than they are, but i don't really know how to do that yet. guess it's a good thing i'm trapped here, for now~
If you're thinking about that, it's probably already a good sign, even if you don't know what to do about it yet. I'd bet a lot of the older generation is more concerned with keeping things as they are, right? So even considering it is a change. But maybe I'm making assumptions again.
luckily, i think they're pretty afraid of what i could do if i decided i didn't want to listen anymore. but i'm still in school, back home, so i'm trying to be good~ you're old, right?

I suppose the heirs to major clans don't have to play politics in quite the same way, huh?
